Thanks all your answers. I wanted to use GetBooks locally since 1) Internet is not (yet) here and 2) I'm not sure the volunteers on the ground will know how to install pathagar on the server.
But I'll gather all this information and make it available to OLPC France for our next meeting -- hopefully we can work on a short-term solution (local GetBooks + OPDS) and a long-term one (pathagar).
