I think that I found a bug or something like that here. I changed scrollbar = Gtk.VScrollbar(vt.get_vadjustment()) for scrollbar = Gtk.VScrollbar.new(vt.get_vadjustment()) and now it's working on my Fedora 16. Taking in consideration the Porting guide[1] we should not use the ".new" form and both of them should work.
