I'll make particular note of the documentation in https://help.sugarlabs.org/en/home_view.html Here, the default Home view is what this page calls Favorites View, in which a selection of activities are displayed as icons in a circle or spiral, with text names only revealed on mouseover. The Terminal activity within the Sugar desktop (that is to say, not an Ubuntu terminal application) usually is not included in the Favorites View. One can find it, however, in the List View. In List View, the names of the activites are shown in a dedicated column. This is less compact, and less useful to learners who do not yet read, but I find it helpful :-) >From List View, one can then click the star icon to the left to mark it as a >favorite. Returning to the Favorites View, then, will show the Terminal activity there and allow it to be launched by clicking on its icon. -- Joe _______________________________________________ Sugar-devel mailing list Sugar-devel@lists.sugarlabs.org http://lists.sugarlabs.org/listinfo/sugar-devel
