Sugarlabs needs a mascot to welcome new users of the sugar desktop, This can be an important part of outreaching sugar to daily desktop users. One way of creating a mascot for sugar is to use a competition. The benefits are two hold, one is the more people come to know of Sugarlabs and their non-profit collective education systems. The other is, we are getting a mascot personalized to sugar. Most open source companies have mascots too. So its a subject to be brought to discussion, if anyone is interested V/r
