The usability lab at Wichita has done a lot of research on reading text on

I'd rather not change my own font settings just to make myself happy,
because I want to know that I'm looking at the same screen all the kids
will be. I thought the current size was based on assumptions of
readability of the swizzled screen, and was more of a guess than a final
decision. If the current font size is based on that research, then
that's good enough for me.
The current setup is basically... random ;) The HIG has a section about
font size which we should implement. Patches are welcome.
