Yes these  unmet dependencies for gtk2 appear while rebuilding for
python2.5support,
I dont know if the order of wrappers compilation affect the building...i did
it with the order that  is in the wiki.

If you are using Debian then you don't need to build sugar-base. You can
use python2.5 as is. You can use libgtk2.0-0 2.10.7-1 as is in
experimental.

What you will need to do is recompile the python wrappers. See this
