Presently the olpc-csound-server deamon is parked in ram using about 3.9 Mb of precious space. Is it really useful? Memosono is the only activity using it. Memosono is really a proof-of-concept activity that does not really make use of csound functionalities. Memosono would be much better served by forking to aplay to play its soundfiles via alsa directly. TamTam uses csound of course. But TamTam launches, manages and kills its own instance.
