basically, i want to have access to a pendrive on sugar. with Xfe is very easy, you plug the pendrive and there´s an option to mount it. u only need to add a couple of lines in fstab, something like "/dev/sda1 /mnt/usb vfat noauto, user 0 0", and that´s it.
besides, i´m trying to add other "traditional" applications, but i can´t create activities for them. it seems that i´ll have to wait a little bit for that.. i hope it´ll be ready soon.......;P On 5/6/07, Marco Pesenti Gritti <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

Hi Emiliano, you can't make an activity without modifying the code... We are planning to make sugar more compatible with traditional applications (latest git is a bit better at this already) but that's a different matter. I'm curious about the reason you are trying to add a file manager to Sugar. "File management" will be handled by the journal: http://wiki.laptop.org/go/OLPC_Human_Interface_Guidelines/The_Laptop_Experience/The_Journal Marco
