It might not be purely a touchpad issue. Once in a while I've seen the cursor jump to a corner -- this is while I'm using an USB trackball, not the XO touchpad.

p.s. When using the XO touchpad, a sure way to get erratic cursor
behavior is contacting its surface with two fingers (instead
of one).
