Had not previously thought to run 'top' as the first command after booting my G1G1 (Joyride 2169 equiv.; Q2E11). When I did, I found to my surprise that 'jffs2_gcd_mtd0' was running at 100% CPU usage. [That task went to idle after some 80 seconds.]
