Recent Joyride. I typically have two Terminal sessions active - I've given them different titles, so I can distinguish between the types of work I do in each. I notice that when I "call up" the Journal screen, often which session is displayed at the very top will "flip" shortly after that screen begins to be displayed. [I've even occasionally observed the entries "flip" again, after I've been looking at the Journal screen for a while.]
One problem I have with my XO is that it sometimes is too SLOW for my reactions. Just now had been trying out an Activity. Ended it. Went to the Journal, with the intention of erasing the entry that Activity logged there. Saw that entry at the very top, clicked on the little arrow at the right end of the top entry, went to the toolbar and clicked on 'Erase', got put back in Journal -- and saw the entry I wanted to erase still being shown on the Journal screen. Apparently, what had happened was that as I was moving the cursor to the little arrow of the topmost entry, that topmost entry was changed by Journal to show one of my Terminal sessions. When I then clicked on 'Erase' in the detail screen, I did not notice that the detail screen was NOT for the entry which I had thought I had asked for -- and what I erased was an entry I did not intend to erase. mikus _______________________________________________ Sugar mailing list [email protected] http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/sugar
