Actually, it is leaking when there is a large number of icons. That's because we are never removing _collisions when items are removed from the grid. I supect that's not the problem you was seeing though, Tomeu. Guppy report those...
Anyway I'm attaching a random implementation of SpreadLayout, which does without the Grid. Could you give it a try to exclude the Grid from the possible culprits? Marco
