Hey All,

Fedora has applied to be a Mentoring Organization for Google Summer of Code
2020. Google is yet to declare Fedora as a mentoring Org.
I, Sumantro Mukherjee (OA) along with Vipul Siddharth (OA) would like to
welcome each and everyone who has shown the willingness to participate in
GSoC 2020. This email will contain some pointers as to how to proceed with
contributions.

First things first, The Fedora Project is a community of people working
together to build a free and open source software platform and to
collaborate on and share user-focused solutions built on that platform [0].
The project ideas for this year are listed here [1]. The idea page, gets
updated with time, please stay tuned and watch out for changes. Fedora is
guarded by a strict Code of Conduct (CoC) [2] which everyone is highly
recommended to abide by as they start contributing and interacting with the
community.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please let OAs know either over
IRC/Email/Telegram:
