Hi Harald, I can confirm the gtest problem but xerces seems to work. For a successful build log with 1.9.0 see here: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/533831854/buildlog_ubuntu-hirsute-amd64.sumo_1.9.0+dfsg1-8~hirsute_BUILDING.txt.gz
Can you check whether your build works with the released 1.9?
