Dear SUMO developers What do you think about idea of changing license of some files C++ TraCI client API implementation to LGPL instead GPL3? Or adding another one license to existing.
Because now it means that we have to publish wholly codes of big and not open-sources proprietary systems wich just uses a small library of the interface with the SUMO, if I understand right. It's not always possible. ) Can you modify or add licenses for these files: src/utils/traci/TraCIAPI.h src/utils/traci/TraCIAPI.cpp src/traci-server/TraCIConstants.h src/traci-server/TraCIDefs.h src/config.h and src/windows_config.h Another way, we will have to create and share under LGPL a new own implementation of TraCI client instead of existing one. May be under Qt sockets library. It takes time.
