Hello,
possibly, the lane change is instantly undone by the vehicles own
lanechange model. Try calling
traci.vehicle.setLateralAlignment(vehID, "arbitrary")
before affecting the lateral change.
Our tests in version 0.30.0 for that functionality are working. However, it
probably wouldn't hurt to try the latest version (0.32.0)
