Hi, - the documentation regarding width at http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Definition_of_Vehicles,_Vehicle_Types,_and_Routes#Vehicle_Types has been updated. - when assigning a vehicle class to a new type, an appropriate default width is used (see http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Vehicle_Type_Parameter_Defaults) but this can be changed like any other vtype attribute.
