You can let flowrouter write a type attribute. See: See https://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Tools/Detector#Generating_vehicles_with_additional_parameters Then define the <vType> in an extra additional file and include it in your simulation. In your optimization loop, you only need to re-generated the file with the vType.
