Random walk / random waypoint are models for mobilty (and other things). They can be combined with any type of network or lattice to get a concrete mobilty model. The Manhatten Mobility model is a Random walk on a Manhatten Grid. For help on recreating such a model in SUMO, see https://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Tutorials/Manhattan
