You can add background images using the 'Background' tab in the
visualization settings dialog.
The background definition can also be saved to/loaded from a gui settings
file.
If the file is a geo-tiff and the network file has a geo-reference, the
image will be positioned automatically.
If you take raster screenshots (jpg, png, bmp) the background image will
show up.
It doesn't work for vector screenshots (ps, pdf).
