Hello, 1) the error message " Error: The class for vType 'car' is not known." should only ever be generated by an input like this: <vType id="something" vClass="car" .../>. For a list of permitted vClass values, see https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Definition_of_Vehicles,_Vehicle_Types,_and_Routes.html#abstract_vehicle_class
2) the error " Error: Unknown person mode 'public,car' for person '0';" is caused by the use of ','m as list separator. use 'mode="public car"' instead. 3) the <vType> element does not support the attribute 'type' regards, Jakob Am Fr., 20.
