Hi Alberto,
it seems that the poppler library requires libtiff 4.0, which seems not
to be installed on your Linux.

building it wit: 'make -j $(nproc)' it breaks at 78% as shown in the
attached image. It has to be said that I have also installed the 1.1.0
version and it worked fine.
