Hi Christoph,
the time is logged before and after executing the pending TraCI commands
inside the main method of a simulation step, see the source code at
MSNet::simulationStep
<https://github.com/eclipse/sumo/blob/2872da8624807007d3d266da37359257be13f623/src/microsim/MSNet.cpp#L518-L529>()

After the simulation step, the time difference is printed to the output.
Jakob can tell you probably more about everything.

Mirko

Hello all,
I am running TraCI & SUMO via Libsumo and I'm trying to figure out
what the step log value "TraCI" tells me.
I've already searched the docs, but could not find any explanation.
e.g. in the following line, what do the 11ms tell me?
Step #18850.00 (31ms ~= 8.06*RT, ~30580.65UPS, TraCI: 11ms, vehicles
TOT 1353 ACT 948 BUF
Thanks and kind regards,
Christoph Flick
