Hi Kavita,

under windows you should call the script with

python %SUMO_HOME%\tools\randowTrips.py

Hi Kavita,

how exactly are you calling randomTrips.py?

Please take a look at: https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Tools/Trip.html#randomtripspy <https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Tools/Trip.html#randomtripspy>

Best regards,

Angelo

Hi Team SUMO,

I am Kavita, a research scholar from the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay. I have just started using SUMO for basic traffic modelling, and encountered an issue. The randomTrips.py file is not accessible at all, and whenever I execute the command from cmd to call it, it opens a word file. No new xml file gets generated. Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

A quick response would be highly appreciated.

ThanksĀ and Regards,

Kavita Kiran Prasad,

Research Scholar,

Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
