Dear Michael, The command cat /etc/os-release returned "Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)". A "sudo apt update" followed by a "sudo apt-get sumo sumo-tools sumo-doc" seems to have worked for me, thanks a lot!
Yesterday, I tried to obtain sumo using "pip install eclipse-sumo" which did not work.
