Thanks for the suggestion. Tracking fuels besides electricity is now supported in the very latest development version by setting option --device.battery.track-fuel. For this you can combine any emissionClass with the battery device and must then interpret the battery level as fuel in ml. (for emissionClass "Energy" it will still track electricity).
Likewise you can interpret chargingStations as gas stations by adapting their parameters accordingly. There is as of yet no support to distinguish charging properties for different fuels. The download at https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Downloads.php#sumo_-_latest_development_version will include the new feature tomorrow. Am Do., 11.
