Hello, in the latest release this cannot be avoided. However, in the latest development version, joining can be avoided if the phases differ in their 'name' attribute. (Note, that the download at https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Downloads.php#sumo_-_latest_development_version will only contain this feature from tomorrow on). regards, Jakob
