one-shot.py writes edgeData by default to a file named dump_XYZ.xml
Also all that one-shot.py does, is to call sumo with trips as input
(multiple times with different parameters for rerouting frequency).
You can just call sumo with trips directly and load additional files as
desired.
Take a look at the sumocfg files written by one-shot.py as inspiration.
