The nightly version is build from branch 'main' at
https://github.com/eclipse/sumo and is therefore identical with the "main"
branch version (unless the build fails as happened last weekend).
Downloading the nightly from today gives you an updated main version that
contains all patches for https://github.com/eclipse/sumo/issues/10060
This is in contrast to the release version 1.12.0 which doesn't have those
patches.
