You can check for successful import of elevation data by setting the Street coloring mode to 'by height' or 'by inclination'. In your output, the warning "Ignored heightmap feature type POINT", suggests that no elevation data was imported though. The importer only supports shapefile input in the form of a triangular mesh at the moment (datatype POLYGON). As an alternative, consider importing elevation from a grayscale geotiff.
