I can't remember any study focusing on cable cars in SUMO. Some work which
may have something in common was this one: "Personal Rapid Transit
simulations with SUMO"

(p. 102). There is no dedicated vehicle class

for cable cars either.

Hi sumo users,
I'm currently in the process of developing an urban cable car/gondola
system in a Sumo simulation using existing functionalities. This concept is
based on the existing urban cable car system found in La Paz

into the development, I was curious if anyone else has attempted to do
this, or if there is any documentation that might be helpful.
