1. make sure to define SUMO_HOME https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Basics/Basic_Computer_Skills.html#sumo_home 2. Your .rou.xml file contains the element <vTypeDistribution id="hdv_dist"/> - this is an empty distribution.
