Sumo provides multiple options to influence vehicles during the simulation.
You can use several TraCI functions
<https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/TraCI/Change_Vehicle_State.html> to add and
remove vehicles, let them brake and more. There is the "simpla"
<https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Simpla.html> framework which creates platoons
automatically and builds upon TraCI. How do you create your platoon at the
moment?
If you are pretty new to Sumo, I suggest to have a read in the
documentation about TraCI <https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/TraCI.html> in general.
