You can use tripinfo-output and analyze it with
https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Tools/Output.html#tripinfobytypepy (this will only
work by type not by line)
An alternative would be to filter the tripinfo-output with
https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Tools/Xml.html#filterelementspy (i.e. by line) and
then obtain statistics with
https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Tools/Output.html#attributestatspy
