it seems to be an internal memory problem in SUMO.
Which version of SUMO and which operating system are you using?

I am running simulation using traCI to assign taxis to requests and at
some point, in the simulation the taxi is teleported and skips a stop
at a lane where it has to pick the request. Now, this behavior gives
an error stating "Error: bad allocation" forcing the simulation to
