paragraphs about road capacity

documentation. Maybe you get some more advice there. Please note that the
number of inserted vehicles depends on the time step length as well (only
one vehicle can be inserted per lane and time step).

I appreciate your guidance, Sir. I was able to insert 1729 vehicles by
changing my network and setting departPos="last" and departSpeed="15".
Despite there is a space gap of 20 meters and higher between two
consecutive vehicles, 2400 vehicles could not enter the simulation. I used
a single-lane road. I have attached the route file and the simulation video

It is simply because your network already ends there and the vehicles
leave it shortly after being inserted. What if you add another edge
downstream?

Dear Mirko,
I still have a problem with the Simulation. I set it departPos to "last",
but in the simulation vehicle only appears at the end of the road. Also,
the FCD output is not realistic. It shows 2500 vehicles with no
acceleration and discontinuous time values. Any suggestions on how to fix
this please? I am sending a video of the simulation, the route file, and
a screenshot of the FCD output.

I have set the departSpeed to 10 m/s and the traffic volume to 2400
vehicles per hour, but only 1400 vehicles were simulated.
Do you have any suggestions on how to create congestion, please?

It may be that not all vehicles could be inserted. The volume this is
close to what is considered the capacity of a single lane (with
default parameters). The capacity can be reached only under certain
conditions, one being speed. If you insert the vehicles with speed
v=0, they need time to accelerate which makes you lose capacity.
Define the departSpeed attribute of your flow to change this.

Hello Everyone,
I am working on a SUMO simulation with one lane and a traffic flow
rate of 1800 Veh/hr. The simulation duration is one hour (3600
seconds) and I generated FCD output. However, the number of vehicles
simulated is less than the traffic flow. Only 1200 vehicles were
simulated. Can anyone help me with this issue, please? I have
attached my cfg file. Thanks
