Please try the nightly version after tomorrows update. It contains a patch which allows for seamless rendering of tiles. Note, that the .net.xml must have be built with the correct mercator projection instead of the default UTM projection for this to work. If you obtained your initial map with osmWebWizard and checkbox "satellite background" it should be fine.
