Hello, you can run your simulation beginning at step 0 and save the state at step 500. Then you can start a simulation with the saved state at step 500. see the --state.save and --load.state options here: http://sumo-sim.org/wiki/SUMO Otherwise, the only way to retain those vehicles is to start your simulation earlier or to set a later departure time for these vehicles. regards, Jakob
