Hi,

With the recently introduced change lane preference behaviour
available via traci, is there a way to specify this in the xml file
for the sim as well, i.e. in a vType definition? I don't know whether
just the same stuff there is available as traci? The problem I have,
is I've defined a flow based on the 'interval' approach (based on
highways data I've got) where I've tried to space the vehicles out
across 4 lanes, according to UK driving preference (i.e. slowest
vehicles in left hand lane). But as soon as the vehicles enter the
sim, they start changing lanes. I really want them to stay with almost
certainty (well, a little lane changing would be nice, but these are
just changing lanes straightaway). I want to intentionally create some
shockwaves back through the traffic by a vehicle suddenly braking..

Second, probably tiny question, as I'm using induction loops and
extracting data out via traci to measure these shockwaves/congestions
by the vehicle suddenly braking, in the doc
(http://sumo-sim.org/wiki/TraCI/Induction_Loop_Value_Retrieval) it
says to set the rate of the inductor to 1 second. Is this true even if
you're running at a smaller simulation step? I'm using 0.5 second.. So
I wonder if the info should read, set it to match you sim step, or if
1second is definitely right.

Thanks!
