Hi all,

I posted this finding a while ago on a related post, but since it appears also on v.0.20 I am creating a new post.

Specific all, the numeric Node IDs when generating ns2 traces can have gaps among them while they are incremented. For example instead of having continuous sequential IDs like (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,....) gaps appear such as (1,2,3,5,6,8,....) and there are no nodes with IDs 4 and 7.

I am experiencing this while processing the TAPAS-Cologne (v.17.0) scenario FCD output. Command as follows:

traceExporter.py --fcd-input fcd-output.xml --ns2config-output config.tcl
--ns2activity-output activity.tcl --ns2mobility-output mobility.tcl

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
Nicholas
