for description of the current HBEFA model, The publication "iTETRIS
Deliverable 3.1 – Traffic Modelling: Environmental Factors" would be useful
but I'll have to check whether it may be made public. There will be an
updated version of the HBEFA model soon at I presume it will have an
accompanying publication as well. As to a description of the emission
metrics, I think you should just go to wikipedia (-:
