$netdiff.py cross1l/net.net.xml cross1ltl/net.net.xml diff will create four files (all starting with diff) describing the edges, the nodes, the connections and the traffic light programs which differ. In the example above using networks from sumos examples the diff for the edges and the connections is empty since only the type of the junction has changed to trafficlight.
