I have made more attempts at solving this question and I am still having
difficulty getting this to work.

Dr Sommer, could you or someone please elaborate on the explanation you
provided above, to bring an OpenStreetMap .osm file into Veins.. having
.numVehicles and .accidentCount adhered to.
