Bonjour Marie-Ange,

Possibly the error is because the path you have set is not going through all
consecutive arcs (all edges must be attached to the previous edge). For
example, if you have the following consecutive edges : edg_1 , edg_2 , edg_3 ,
edg_4 the road can not jump from edge 1 to 4 directly (whitout using
intermediate edges 2 and 3) . A way to go around the problem is to give the
starting and final destination. But it is not assured that the route is the one
you want because the program will search for the shortest path . By-cons if
your network is simple ( for example with a main street and side roads ) that
could do the job.

Example :

file.rou.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<routes>
<flows>
    <interval begin="0" end="3600">

        <flow id="Car 1" from="EDGE_1" to="EDGE_30" number="400"/>
        <flow id="Car 2" from="EDGE_10" to="EDGE_15"  number="100"  />

        ….

     </interval>
  </flows>
</routes>

attribute « number » is the number of vehicles planned during the simulation.
Beaware that « begin » and « end » times interval are compatible with the file
.sumocfg

Hope that help.

Objet : [sumo-user] ignore an error

Hi everybody,

I want to know how to ignore the following error during my simulation (sumo
stops to run) : "Warning : Vehicle 'id' performs emergency stop at the end
of lane 'laneid' because there is no connection to the next edge"

Thanks a lot !!

Best Regards,

M.Ange
