Hello,
unfortunately, this is not supported by the current simulation architecture. We
do have plans to implement this eventually but it will be a larger undertaking.
Currently, your best work-around is to use TraCI:
- compute the bidirectional overtaking checks yourself
- move the overtaking vehicle in front of the leader vehicle instantaneously
(using the 'move' command http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/TraCI/Change_Vehicle_State)
