Problem solved. It was a problem with Xerces DLLs. I recompiled the 3.1.2 with MS VC 2013 and now it works.

The Release version works fine, but I'm having troubles with the Debug version. It does compile, but when I execute it I get the following error: Application popup: sumo64D.exe - Application Error : The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0150002). Click OK to close the application. Anyone experiencing the same?
