Hi Deborah, At simulation time you could use rerouters ( http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Simulation/Rerouter#Closing_a_Street) but only to close whole edges. However, you can easily keep a master network and minimal patch files to describe your different networks. see http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Tutorials/ScenarioGuide#Example:_Patching_the_type_of_a_node
