Hello, a good starting point is http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Tools/Import/OSM Once the scenario is created you may modify all its configuration files and build scripts to tweak it. (i.e. the randomTrips.py script that is used for generation the demand has an option for limiting trip length.
