I’ve got a ~800km road network derived from OSM but with explicitly-created
node and edge files. All traffic control is provided by netconvert from these
node and edge files.

At least some multi-lane 4-way intersections are given conventions for traffic
control which differ between roads participating in the intersection.

In one example the north/south road has three lanes each direction of
straight-through traffic and left and right-turns allowed from the left- and
right lanes, respectively. But the east/west road (also three lanes each
direction) ends up with only the center lane allowed to go straight through
while the left and right lanes are dedicated to left and right turns,
respectively.

I would like this intersection to allow three lanes of straight-through traffic
on all roads (and left and right turns from left and right lanes).

I’ve tried overriding the connections for the intersection using a connections
file containing all of the left, right, and straight combinations I would like
for this intersection (and with no other elements such as deletes).

afaict this is not sufficient to change the lane behaviors; the extra links
required do not seem to appear in the output .net.xml.

Any suggestions to get three lanes straight through in all directions?

TIA!

- Tom
