Hello, here is a brief overview: PRO: - open (no price attached and you can modify the code) - powerful (tons of features) - portable (supports all operating systems) - fast (quick simulation of large scenarios) - Also SUMO is quite well supported (documentation, mailing list, continuous addition of features)
CONS: - takes quite a bit of computer knowledge to get started (using the command line, editing XML files, ...) - some models lack validation Some of these con's are being reduced over time (i.e. in the current development version): - netedit allows modifying networks without editing XML files - web wizard allows building a scenario without using the command line Model validation is an ongoing concern. We are planning on having some publications in that regard next year. regards, Jakob 2015-11-27 13:48 GMT+01:00 Rowland Odude <[email protected]>: > Hey > > Can anyone give me PROS and limitations of SUMO? > > Thanks > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > _______________________________________________ > sumo-user mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sumo-user > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Go from Idea to Many App Stores Faster with Intel(R) XDK Give your users amazing mobile app experiences with Intel(R) XDK.
